Abstract

The Arabic language is a basic and main language for the majority of peoples, so it affects and is affected by everything around it and all the changes that surround it. That made the world a small village and defined new features that did not exist in the past, in addition to the dominance of other languages ​​over it, which will affect its sovereignty at the same time. The results of the study concluded that the Arabic language and its sciences were affected by Western theories that consider that the Arabic language is descended from the Semitic languages. The Arabic language was affected by technological and technical progress and the great explosion of knowledge that invaded the world recently, which caused the decline of the role of the Arabic language due to the control of the English language over schools and universities, and the desire of parents to teach their children English from an early age, in addition to the fact that the rule of the Arabic language was affected by the control of Other languages ​​are on it, especially English, which has become the primary language in institutes, schools, and private institutions.

The study recommended the necessity of teaching the Arabic language to non-native speakers, and contributing to its dissemination in Western countries in order to preserve its sovereignty in light of the globalization control over the Arab countries, and the necessity of using and employing technological and technical progress in developing the methods and methods of teaching the Arabic language, so that it becomes more attractive to learners.
