ICIE recognizes authorship based on substantial scholarly contributions to the conception, design, implementation, analysis, or interpretation of the research. Individuals listed as authors must have made meaningful intellectual contributions to the manuscript, participated in drafting the article or critically revising it for important intellectual content, approved the final version for publication, and agreed to take responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of the work.
All authors must be appropriately identified in the submitted manuscript, and their contributions should be transparent. The corresponding author is responsible for coordinating communication with the editorial team, ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final manuscript, and confirming that all eligible contributors are included as authors. Individuals who have provided assistance but do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately rather than listed as authors.
The journal does not accept honorary, guest, or gift authorship, nor does it permit the omission of individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research. Any changes to the authorship list, including the addition, removal, or rearrangement of authors, must be justified and approved by all authors involved, subject to the editor's approval. By submitting a manuscript to ICIE, the authors confirm that the authorship information is accurate, that all listed authors consent to the submission, and that the manuscript complies with the journal's publication ethics and academic integrity standards.
